Case 1 Insufficient Hashrate of Miner
Abnormal Performance
- Insufficient hashrate
- Fewer hash boards
- Chip loss
Reasons and Solutions
1. The network is unstable--replace the network cable or contact the network operator
2. Interference or unstable power supply--do a good job of grounding or replacing the power supply
3. The cable is abnormal--re-insert the cable or replace the cable
4. Hashboard or chip problem--repair
Case 2 The miner is unstable.
Abnormal Performance
- The miner restarts automatically
- The hashrate is unstable
Reasons and Solutions
1. Interference or unstable power supply--make sure to ground or replace the power supply
2. Low voltage or unstable voltage--electrician assists in troubleshooting
3. The chip is unstable or the control board is damaged--repair
4. The network problem is unstable--require the network engineer to troubleshoot the problem
Case 3 The miner cannot connect to the mining pool.
Abnormal Performance
- The interface is not displayed
- The status of the 3 mining pools set are all die
Reasons and Solutions
1. Configuration error--reconfigure after restoring to factory settings
2. The network is abnormal--check the network or contact the network operator
3. The mining pool is abnormal--replace the mining pool
Case 4 Miners cannot be upgraded or set.
Abnormal Performance
- Unable to flash SD card
- No display on the interface
- Unable to set up the mining pool
Reasons and Solutions
1. IE browser kernel problem--use Google or Firefox browser
2. The SD card is not initialized normally--strict installation tutorial operation is required
3. Accidental power failure during upgrade--repair
4. Abnormal control board--repair
Case 5 No data when entering the backend of the miner
Abnormal Performance
- The backstage is accessible, but the interface has no data
Reasons and Solutions
1. Network failure - check the network
2. High-temperature protection - cooling and ventilation
3. The fan is abnormal - replace the fan
Case 6 The Rejection Rate of Mining Pools
- The rejection rate of the mining pool refers to the ratio of the data rejected by the mining pool to the total number of sent data when the mining machine sends data to the mining pool.
- If the hashrate of the miner is not affected, this parameter can be ignored.
- According to different algorithms and hashrate, the miner sends data to the mining pool every few seconds or ten seconds. This data has certain requirements. When the submitted data is abnormal and does not meet the requirements of the mining pool, the mining pool will reject the data, and the rejection rate of miners will increase.
- The main reason for the high rejection rate of mining pools is network instability.
- The mining machine data is sent to the mining pool server, which is divided into 3 nodes, the local network, the operator network, and the mining pool server. The following common exceptions will cause the mining pool rejection rate to increase.
- Local network: generally interference, network cable virtual connection, and other problems
- Operator network: generally the network node is unstable
- Mining pool server: server exception
