To avoid secondary damage to the faulty miner, please check the log of your miner first to troubleshoot faults before restarting the miner according to your on-site conditions(restart including manual power-off and dashboard backend operation).
Common scenarios are as follows:
▷Single hashboard only find X chips(only some chips can be found), please do not restart the miner and just return it for repair directly.
Typical error is as follow:
Chain 0 only find 6 asic, will power off hash board 0
ERROR_SOC_INIT: soc init failed
▷If the whole chips not detected (all hashboards show 0 chip),please check if there is a short circuit on the hashboard; if there is a short circuit, please do not restart the miner and return it for repair directly; if there is no short circuit occurs, the miner can be restarted normally.
Typical error is as follow:
Chain 0 only find 0 asic, will power off hash board 0
ERROR_SOC_INIT: soc init failed
▷ For High-temperature protection, you need to check the miner operating environment and restart the miner after excluding high temperature factor. If environment temperature is high , you can set a time to avoid the high temperature before restarting your miner . Repeated restarts the miner without excluding high temperature factors are strictly prohibited.
Typical error is as follow:
Sweep error string = P:1.
ERROR_TEMP_TOO_HIGH:over max temp
▷For Low-temperature environment , if the temperature is below -20℃,please do not restart the miner , start and restart of the miner are strictly prohibited under low temperature circumstance. You need to heat the miner at least to above -20℃(above 0℃ is suggested); If your condition is allowed the miner needs to be heated to above 0℃ before restarting.
Typical error is as follow:
Sweep error string = P:2.
ERROR_TEMP_TOO_LOW: temp too low!
▷If the power supply is abnormal, please check whether there is a short circuit on the hashboard; If there is a short circuit, do not restart the miner and return it for repair directly; If there is no short circuit occurs, the miner can be restarted normally.
Typical errors are as follow:
ERROR_POWER_LOST: power voltage rise or drop
ERROR_POWER_LOST: power voltage abnormity, pls check!
ERROR_POWER_LOST: power status error!
ERROR_POWER_LOST: power voltage read failed, pls check!
ERROR_POWER_LOST: power voltage rise or drop, pls check!
For Hyd. miner
Typical error is as follow:
chain avg vol drop from 1990 to 2.45
▷When you find the fault due to abnormal network or mining pool, insufficient hashrate, missing hashboard, chain X only find 0 chips ) , the miner can be restarted normally.
For example:
Network outage typical error is as follow:
ERROR_UNKOWN_STATUS: power off by NET_LOST
Network recovery typical error is as follow:
ERROR_NET_LOST: network connection resume, restart.
Note: Do not restart the defective miner blindly, otherwise it may cause irreversible failure to the miner.
▷If parts of the hashboards have low hash rate, please check the nonce response rate to see if parts of the chips are abnormal ,please do not fix it by keeping restarting the miner.
Typical error is as follow:
chain 1, asic 54, nonce 455< 85% avg 541
