What is the impact of power outage and network disconnection on the running Miner?

▷Power outage
If it is not necessary, the miner does not need to be powered off. The miner is designed for long-term operation. There is no power switch or shutdown button. The power-off method is to cut off the power.

If you must power off, keep the following two points in mind:

• Do not turn off the miner in a high humidity environment, because it generates a lot of heat. After the miner is turned off, the temperature will drop due to condensation and moisture, which will corrode the circuit for a long time.
• Do not directly turn off the main circuit breaker, and power off one by one in an orderly manner. Due to the high power of the miner, batch power outages will cause the instantaneous impact of voltage surges to damage it.

▷Disconnection
When the miner is disconnected from the network, it will automatically reconnect to the network, and after a certain number of reconnections, it will automatically shut down for protection.

• The miner will be shut down for protection after a long-term disconnection. At this time, the miner is the same as the power outage, and the temperature of the miner changes greatly. If the miner is in a high-humidity environment, it is prone to corrosion due to condensation. After the network is disconnected, the miner cannot mine normally, but it still consumes electricity. When the expected disconnection time exceeds 15 minutes, the power should be cut off directly.
• When you plan to cut off the network, you should cut off the power first, and then cut off the network.

▷Sleep Mode

If you do not need to power off the machine directly, but just need to adjust the miners to sleep mode due to power limiting.  Sleep mode is actually a state where the hashboard is powered off but the control board is still powered on. 

• Please note that not to switch all miners to sleep mode at once, you need to set the miner into sleep mode or restrat from sleep mode in batches or orderly. It is generally recommended that you  set a small batch of  miners  into sleep mode or restart from sleep mode every 20 seconds orderly (such as 15 miners per batch).
