1.What are the water inlet and water outlet pipe diameters of Hydro miner?

▷10mm

2.Why does Hydro miner not turn on in winter after normal shutdown?

▷Hydro miner has a low temperature protection mechanism, the water temperature needs to be above 20° for the Hydro miner to start.

▷If the water temperature is below 20°, the low temperature protection mechanism will be triggered and the Hydro miner will not start.

▷If your local temperature is below 20°, it is recommended to purchase PTC device to increase the inlet water temperature( if you need to purchase PTC device， please consult our customer service).

3.Hydro miner is too cold to start, how does it heat up?

▷if you are using an official BITMAIN container, you can adjust the valve to the internal circulation mode and wait for the water temperature to rise.  If the temperature is too low, you can use PTC equipment to heat the coolant at the same time after adjusting to the internal circulation.

▷if you are using a third party hydro cooling device, you need to preheat the coolant according to the instructions of the third party cooling device before starting the machine.

4.Does Hydro miner use tap/municipal water directly? Or do we need to use specialized coolant?

▷The Hydro miner cannot use tap water directly and requires deionized water or antifreeze for internal circulation.

5.Hydro miner's water quality is substandard and the water pipe has turned yellow. What can be done?（Please refer to the picture below）

Please power down immediately, you will need to clean the Hydro miner and container and replace the required deionized water or coolant.

6. Does Hydro miner use single-phase or three-phase electricity?

▷Hydro miner uses three-phase electricity.

7. How should the Hydro miner power plug be connected? （Please refer to the picture below）

▷The long pin of the power plug is connected to the ground wire, and the other three short pins are connected to the hot wire. The ground wire cannot be connected incorrectly, and the order of the three hot wires is not required.

 

 8. How to distinguish the water inlet and water outlet of Hydro miner?（Please refer to the picture below）

▷The side near the power supply is the water inlet, and the other side is the water outlet. Please make sure that the connection is correct to avoid machine failure.

9. What is the noise level of the Hydro miner?

▷The Hydro miner is theoretically noise-free, and noise generally comes from the corresponding cooling equipment.

10.If we don't buy the official container and just buy the Hydro miner separately, will it work normally?

▷.If there is no container, Hydro miner cannot dissipate heat and cannot be used alone.  Specialized hydro cooling equipment should be configured according to the operating parameters of Hydro miner to dissipate heat.(Please note that Hydro miner cannot be started without heat dissipation, otherwise it may burn out the hashboard and be scrapped, which cannot be repaired according to the after-sales policy);

▷Hydro miner power interface is specialized, need to be equipped with specialized power cable.

(The reference model for the Hydro PSU AWP11 plug is LP-20-4P);

If you can solve the above two problems, you should be able to run the hydro miner properly. In order for your machine to run stably, we highly recommend you to use BITMAIN official containers.
