1. Zero hashrate caused by high temperature protection mode
When the temperature of the miner become red (as shown below), which means the miner is under high temperature protection mode, it will cut off all the power to hashboard in this mode, and the miner will become zero hashrate.
Solution: Check whether the heat status of the temperature is too high while operating, whether the heat dissipate condition is running smoothly.
2. Zero hashrate caused by fan failure
When the fan speed of the miner is obviously abnormal, generally the fan is having functional failure. When the fan is unable to function properly, it will cut off all the power to hashboards, and the miner will become zero hashrate. When the miner is restart or turned on, it will check on the functionality of the fan, if the fan is broken, the miner will not be activated, which will cause no hashrate.
Solution: Usually, it need to reconnect the fan cable. If it still doesn’t work, it’s required to change the fan.
3. Zero hashrate caused by abnormality of PSU
When the miner detected the abnormality on the PSU, it will not supply the power to hashboard, which will cause the miner unable to activate. The abnormality of PSU requires to check on the data log whether display error code V:1, to identify whether there is abnormality on the PSU.
Solution: Reconnect the cable of the PSU, if it does not work, please change PSU.
4. Network or mining pool error
When the miner is unable to connect to network or linked to the mining pool, the miner is unable to activate, and it will cause no hashrate.
Solution: Check the setting of the mining pool, if the setting is normal, it’s required to troubleshoot the network. Because the network of the mining farm is built differently, it’s required relative professional network technician to troubleshoot.
5. Hashboard failure
The hashboard failure can be categorized to many types, particularly the ASIC IC on the hashboard lesser than design, the hardware version on the hashboard is abnormal, PIC error, temperature error, EEPROM error and etc., the miner will cut off all the source to hashboard, which will cause zero hashrate. Zero hashrate will also happen when all 3 hashboards were not detected.
Solution: Generally, it requires to return for repair.
