Getting a power cord for your PSU
Power cord is not included in the package, get one that adheres to your local standards. Our APW series uses the C13 cord (normal desktop power cord).
Get a power cord that is at least 10 A. The length should be 1.5 m or less.
Use multiple or different PSUs on a miner
Use one PSU for one miner. The miner can receive power from different PSUs, but each hash board can only receive from just one PSU.
IMPORTANT: Do not use multiple PSUs to power one hash board.
The 6-pin power connectors are interchangeable so the sequence doesn’t matter when connecting the connectors to the miner.
Starting voltage and rated power
Starting voltage is the required voltage of wall outlet to get your PSU working and deliver power to the miner. The starting voltage of this PSU must be at least 100 V.
This PSU cannot be used in countries with main power voltage lower than 100 V.
The APW5 which has 14 PCIE connectors is compatible with one S9/T9 series miner but ONLY at 220 V. With just 110 V, APW5 cannot be used to run an S9/T9 series miner.
The APW5 is compatible with one L3+ at 110 V. The APW5 can power two R4 miners at 220 V but NOT more than one R4 at a 110 V input.
