s9 issues ( x2)

Hello,

I recently purchased an antminer s9. hooked it up and its ran perfect for 3 weeks. I bought another one from ebay and it came in terrible shape. it was so filthy and it wasnt just dust it was like it was ran in a humid room the dust was caked. (REGARDLESS ) ... I plugged it into the same network and power cord i use with my first one it gets so hot it shuts down. after about 5 minutes maybe ten it is so hot i can barely touch it, ( the unit itself not the power cord) ... keep in mind i live in canada and the room i use is -20 degrees celcius, and sterile.

I tried to hook up my first antminer back up and it wont even show up in my router anymore. The hashboard lights are good, the ethernet light is good, everythings normal. but i cant access it via its IP and the router doesnt even show the antminer s9 as active.

any ideas whats wrong with the orignal one? and any idea why the new one over heats and shuts down ?

You can try to restore the factory, or use the SD card to swipe the control board.

Hello!
This can not solve the problem of overheating. You said you couldn't find the first machine. If the second miner is overheating, it is recommended that you clean up the dust on the miner and check whether the ventilation is normal.
