Installing previous firmware to allow multi-option mining firmware

I have successfully upgraded all of my S9i miners from the original firmware to: "Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201907302056-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz"

Except the first one. I upgraded to the latest firmware: "Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201907311618-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz"

This last version doesn't offer the Multi-Option capabilities than the previous release. Is it safe for the to change the firmware down (one day) from 201907311618 to 201907302056 to allow for this functionality?
