APW9+ Repair

Good day. I have a few of these power supplies for repair. I have checked it according to the Chinese manuals but still, I am not getting them to work.

The two outside fans on the power supplies are not starting. The center one is working. I do not get any shorts on the MOSFETs or the rectifiers. It seems to be a feedback or a control issue but I do not know what IC's can cause this.

This part of the circuit seems to have the fault. The R390 resistor tends to pop.

Hey Marius

Did you try to change a new R390? it may damaged if you compared the resistance value with the one on a good board.

Hi Luke.

I have tried it but I still get the same fault. There must be an IC that is making all the troubles.

All the MOSFETs and rectifiers test clean. 0.39Ohm @ 5W is the value of the resistor.

check diode reading at si7n65f gate and drain
reading 2.8v means ic is good
