Can I use a APW9+ instead of a APW8

I would like to know if I can use a APW9+ instead of a APW8 on DR5's and S15's
Every one knows the APW8's fail running the DR5 and the S15 at full hash
Can the APW9+ handle the load better than the failed APW8?
