    Hello,Benjamin Wehner

So sorry for your defective miners, I checked the log above, for this one,the failure information is missing hashboard, please check if the sigal cable is well connected and upgrade the latest firmware on our website,we just released a new version of firmware for S17+,please download if from this link: https://service.bitmain.com/support/download

and when did you deploy these S17+ miners? and where is the location of the mining farm?

Considering the low temperature in Russia, a little bit low temperatures was also seen in the log of the miner. For example,4 degrees Celsius, please refer to the content in the following link to run the miner in the low temperature season:

If it cannot be fixed after doing above, please send it back ro repair.

Thank you very much and please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions. for the other defective miners, you can also send me all the kernel logs,I will do troubleshooting for them one by one.

    Hello Luke!

Thank you for your reply! So far our techies are checking the signal cables again and updating the firmwares and taking steps descriibed in your link about cold temperature operation.

We deployed most of these miners at the start of 2020 - most of them are still inside warranty but we cant pay the shipment of around 35 broken devices (in total, T17 is having issues at our location aswell) to Hong Kong.

The Mining Farm is located near Udomlja, Russia. We hoped for the Bitmain Service Centre in Moscow to open up by now.

Maybe Bitmain can pay  the costs for transportation or send a mobile repair team as a sign of goodwill.

    best regards

    Hello Benjamin Wehner

Sorry, there is no clear time yet, coupled with the coronavirus outbreak, if there are some miners that need to be returned for repair , it can only be sent back to Hong Kong repair center, China.

    Hey Luke!

Will Bitmain pay the shipping costs for this operation? I hope your company can offer some help by goodwill.
