Replacing fans with external fans

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience removing the fans from the miners and replacing them with a flange and a unit that forces the air in. We have 1200 CFM forced air pumps that are very quiet (less than 30 DB) that we were thinking of attaching to the miners to replace the loud high RPM fans. 

I would love to know your thoughts, we were planning on connecting this to a honeywell HVAC system to heat our house.
