NO BITCOIN payment option on check out only LITECOIN and USD Wiretransfer, what happened to paying by BITCOIN? Now I have to find an exchange to go from B to L - I thought cryptocurrencies were suppose to make things easier, feels to me exactly the same.

Do NOT send these turds any money.  I paid for repair on two machines TWO MONTHS ago on September 13, and now it is November 15, and they are giving me the runaround and won't ship my machines.  PATHETIC.

on October 1st, 2017 I send −0.63566399 BTC to 1iEontqRULyhFE7Qi6vMjYTWx8Bepygsk for order # . Looking Looking at this transaction on blockchain no one has collected these funds.  Employee Chita seems not to understand my request. I would like a refund. at this point.

When looking at the details on blockchain search it shows my funds sitting there "unspent".

    regarding order number 0012017100101286

     −0.63566399 BTC to 1iEontqRULyhFE7Qi6vMjYTWx8Bepygsk

@Rmrezai you made a terrible mistake... you confused a BCC address for BTC!

they asked you to pay with BCC BitCoinCash to a BCC address

you paid with BTC BitCoin entering a BCC address and as such it ended up in a BTC address

they don't have that key for that address

they can't refund you even if they wanted to

those BTC is "lost" in that wallet until one day some lucky person gets assigned that wallet key and find your BitCoin donation

it is going to make them real happy,
sorry that you had to learn an expensive lesson about crypto

    I respectfully disagree.

You must understand that the private keys for BTC and BCH(bitcoin cash) are the exact same.

There is nothing which distinguishes a BCC address from a BTC address; they are both the same format and refer the the same keys, thus a BCC address is a BTC address and vice versa  This means that if someone sends BTC to an address that you created with a BCC wallet, the person who owns that BCC wallet would receive BTC. It won't appear in his BCC wallet, but if he has the same private keys on a BTC wallet, he would receive the coins there and be able to spend it or send it back to me.

As long as both chains adhere to the same address format, which I believe they do, there is no such thing as a BTC or a BCC address -- both are valid on both chains. What enables you to split your coins is the replay protection BCC implemented.

If Bitmain has the private keys for 1iEontqRULyhFE7Qi6vMjYTWx8Bepygsk they can import the private key into a Bitcoin wallet and send me the Bitcoin back.

I am willing to pay for the time if a technician can do this. The reward could be half the amount of BTC worth this time which is greater than $10,000

Sure technically possible (yes your right the private keys are exactly the same, my assertion is they don't have it or don't care to retrieve it) as somebody has the private key and if they feel inclined could access the BTC, and get you a refund. But if you ever get that right (we are rooting for you), please post here again, that would be a first in my experience (Bitmain is a law onto themselves that punishes mistakes and don't believe in helping their customers). Best of luck.

I do agree that companies like Bitmain need to run things like a Business and if everyone was to make the mistake I did then they would not have enough resources to succeed. At the same time, I might be idealistic, but still believe that innovative companies like Bitmain want to help improve technology and want to help customers and at the core they are good people.

I hope, with persistance, one day, a good employee at Bitmain will realize that it may seem like little money for them, but its lots of money for me, and help me in regaining my BTC.

Like I said its not impossible, if Bitmain has the private keys for 1iEontqRULyhFE7Qi6vMjYTWx8Bepygsk (which I think they do) they can import the private key into a Bitcoin wallet and send me the Bitcoin back.

again, i am willing to reward and compensate them for their time and effort.

The support site and ticket process is unbelievable slow and you never get anything resolved best hunt for an email address - like this one jiahong.liu@bitmain.com might still work.  Also try posting on twitter feed @BITMAINtech. Best of luck.

    Still nor response from bitmain. I am in the deep. coinbase has stated that any transaction that is exported from its exchange is also taxable. So, not only did I loose this money, but I also have to use my own money to pay taxes on it. BITMAIN. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME. this is how you can return my bitcoin;

     1) Open Bitcoin ABC (or other BCH client) containing the wallet with the address: 1iEontqRULyhFE7Qi6vMjYTWx8Bepygsk
Step 2) Export private key of the address: 1iEontqRULyhFE7Qi6vMjYTWx8Bepygsk .
Step 3) Import private key using Bitcoin Core, Electrum or other Bitcoin wallets.
Step 4) Send BTC back to the sender(me).

    PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE
